Pens Elimination Day - Wednesday, May 12th

To all DC area sports fans, rejoice...I officially designate today, Wednesday May 12th, as "Pens Elimination Day"...today is the day that the golden boy's game-winning goal in the Olympics now seems to be a quickly fading fluke...a day when the previously brilliant post-season antics of goalie Theo Fluery now seem simply average in the face of an unconscious Miroslav Halak...a day when the crafty plays of setup-man Malkin seem childish in the face of a stingy defense led by Hal Gill...and yes a day when Crosby's post-season stats pale in the face of the Great 8's against the same opponent...all hail Pens Elimination Day!
